Samsung Washing Machine Error Code dC3: Add Door error
Applies to Samsung washing machines that show dC3 or ddC on the display.
The Add Door (the small mid-cycle door on some front loaders) is not detected as closed and locked.
What this code means
Same idea as the main door error, applied to the Add Door: the latch has not confirmed, so the washer will not run.
The manufacturer's checks, in order
- Check the Add Door latch is securely fixed and nothing is caught in it.
- Close and secure the Add Door correctly, then restart.
If the code cannot be corrected or the Add Door or latch is damaged, Samsung says to request service.
