LG Washing Machine Error Code CL: Child lock / control lock
Applies to LG washing machines that show CL on the display.
Not an error — Child Lock is on, so the buttons will not respond.
What this code means
CL is a status display, not a fault code. The controls are locked until you switch the lock off the same way it was switched on.

- To clear it, follow your model's Child Lock button combination (usually holding the marked button for 3 seconds).
