LG Dishwasher Error Code FE: Overfill error
Applies to LG dishwashers that show FE on the display.
More water is being supplied than the cycle should use. Shut the water off first.
What this code means
The flow sensing sees more water entering than the cycle should use. LG's guidance points owners at detergent (wrong type or too much causes over-sudsing and misreads) and at whether the unit is level.
The manufacturer's checks, in order
- Close the water supply valve.
- Check you are using the right detergent and the right amount for it.
- Check the unit sits level.
LG directs owners to contact LG for FE once supply and detergent are ruled out — a stuck inlet valve is the usual cause.
